Community Service

To promote fitness and family health, we sponsor a Big 4 Walk and Health Screening event.

This annual event provides access to helpful information from healthcare professionals, free screening for diabetes, hypertension and other diseases that disproportionately affect communities of color.

In addition, our members volunteer with:

  • Meals on Wheels
  • Samaritan Ministries
  • Kitchen Service
  • Bethesda Center

Our members annually provide 20 families in need with:

  • Thanksgiving food baskets
  • Christmas food baskets and children’s gifts

Alumni members serve lunch at Samaritan House

How Do We It?

We fund our projects through small fundraisers over the course of the year culminating in an elegant fundraising gala at the Benton Convention Center in October.

Our Big 4 Reunion Gala is the kickoff to funding the next year’s community projects. We’ve done much, but with your help we can do so much more.

If you’d like to make a donation or volunteer your time please contact our office at 336.464.3137.
