The meeting with Carlos was really helpful and insightful! As he knew I'm pretty novice in this field, first we have been talking around 15mins about to how to approach the interview as well as its usual structure. After that, we worked on a "How to increase revenues" case for about 30-35' and finally he gave me a really detailed and structured feedback. Regardless my experience, Carlos is a very strong mentor in this regard, offering an in-depth analysis and, above all, full of tips and suggestions. When the time finished, he actually spent around 30' more explaining about my performance, sharing what he knows first-hand about structuring (from an interviewer point of view) and common mistakes to avoid. Carlos was a truly excellent coach in every regard. I cannot emphasise highly enough how pleased I am with this session we had. Ultimately, because Carlos cares about you getting an offer, he delivers his detailed feedback in a manner geared towards maximising your potential in future cases. Carlos was able to establish a performance plan for me by painstakingly highlighting all the things I do well in my Cases, and describing strategies to play to these strengths. Additionally, he pointed out areas in which I needed to improve: he explained why the gaps mattered as a potential communicator, and demonstrated how they could be resolved. Carlos essentially teaches you how to communicate, structure problems, and think conceptually…in the very precise manner that consultants are trained to do. In our session, he revealed impactful tactics to demonstrate these important skills in the Case interview. Along with Carlos’s positive energy and friendly demeanour, I really cannot recommend him highly enough!
